3 Quick Healthy Recipes 

In this series, we bring you some of the world’s most-loved recipes. Today, we focus on a few healthy recipes. On our menu today, we have: Oats Granola Peach Cobbler, Granola Banana Sushi and Oats Granola Smoothie Bowl. So, sit back, take notes and master these recipes like an absolute pro!


Oats Granola Peach Cobbler 


Makes 4     Prep time 15 mins     Cook time 45 mins    


Ingredients
8 fresh peaches

1 cup oats granola 

3/4 cup coconut sugar 

1 cup almond flour 

3 tbsp lime juice 

2 tbsp grated ginger

2 tsp ground cinnamon

3 tbsp butter

2 tsp salt 


METHOD: 

  1. Slice the peaches and place in a bowl. 
  2. Add lime juice, grated ginger, cinnamon, coconut sugar and salt. 
  3. Toss it all up well and once mixed, arrange on a baking dish. 
  4. In a separate bowl, add the almond flour and butter. 
  5. Grind 1/2 cup oats granola and add it in, add the other half in as is. 
  6. Massage the mixture well so the butter is well coated. 
  7. Sprinkle and pat this the second mixture onto the peaches so as to cover peaches completely. 
  8. Bake dish at medium heat for 15 minutes or until the top crust browns. 
  9. Serve as is or with a side of yoghurt.

Granola Banana Sushi

Serves 2     Prep time 20 mins 


Ingredients
1 banana 

2 tbsp peanut butter 

2 tbsp oats granola 


METHOD: 

  1. Cut the banana into 3 pieces. 
  2. Take one banana piece, spread peanut butter around it. 
  3. Grind some oats granola and leave some as is - mix both of these together to get a mix of textures.
  4. Roll peanut buttered banana into granola mix, coating each side well. 
  5. Serve as a healthy Sushi! 

Oats Granola Smoothie Bowl

Makes
2     Prep time 10 mins  


Ingredients
1/2 cup frozen banana

1/2 cup frozen pears 

1/2 cup frozen pineapple

Almond milk as required

1 fresh peach, chopped 

1 fresh banana, sliced 


METHOD: 

  1. Place all frozen items into a blender and add almond milk as needed. 
  2. The frozen fruits helps create a refreshing, ice-cream like texture. 
  3. Once mixed, scoop into a bowl. 
  4. Top with oats granola, sliced bananas and chopped peach.
  5. Serve.
